Now , I guess it's time to provide some context , but before that I would like to warn anyone who is not caught up with the manga for spoilers as I will be briefly taking about the latest chapter , so consider yourselves warned. In the latest chapter Endeavour's battle with the weird black coloured nomu who can fly comes to a close , this fight was really intense and was portrayed as somewhat of a redemption arc for Endeavour's character and he was shown to now step in the boots of the no. 1 hero . The problem that a lot of people had with this was that Endeavour did not face any serious repercussions for the trauma that he put his family through for his pursuit of power , people felt that instead of giving him a redemption arc by him saving the day in All Might's absence , Endeavour should have faced some hardships that end up changing him as a person.
On surface level that seems to be a very fair argument , Endeavour made a huge mistake and now he must pay for it , but if you think about it for a second , is that how the world works. Is that how moral conflicts work , I mean does the idea of " tit for tat " work in real life. The answer is obviously no , there are a lot of instances where the bad guy gets away unscathed. Just to make it clear , by this I am not supporting Endeavour's actions in the slightest , he truly made a huge mistake but this kind of development in the manga does make things seem to be a lot real. Just think about it , no one other than Todoroki and his family know how Endeavour has treated them , for everyone, Endeavour is now the no. 1 hero who just saved the day. So considering this , the way everyone in the manga reacted makes sense. And in the previous chapters , we have seen Endeavour trying to make up for everything that he has done , so for Todoroki and his mom to have a bit of sympathy for Endeavour makes sense as well . As far as the whole thing about him facing repercussions for his actions is concerned , then I feel that those repercussions are coming as the way the chapter ended suggests that this arc is far from over and there is plenty of time for Endeavour to receive what he deserves.
So , by looking a bit deeper in the chapter , all the developments seem to be believable and I don't see any reason for people to get mad even before the whole arc is finished. Now , of course if some of you are still not satisfied by this arc then by all means go ahead voice your opinions but always remember that in no case should you threaten the mangaka. If you have any other stuff that you want to talk about regarding the manga , leave it in the comments below and I'll make sure to check them out.
