WHICH IS BETTER: DIGITAL MANGA OR THE PHYSICAL COPY

The world of manga has experienced a major change in recent years with the introduction of digital manga. Now you don't need to go to a bookstore to buy a physical copy , while as for me and a lot of other people who belong to countries where manga is not sold in bookstores , we don't need to order a physical copy online and wait a week for it to be shipped.
We can buy digital copies of it and start reading instantly. So, in this day and age have the physical copies lost all of  their purpose? Is their no use of them anymore?
Welcome everyone , today I will be trying to provide a satisfying answer to that question , so sit back and enjoy reading.

Let's start off by discussing the pros of digital manga. Digital manga is without a doubt far more convenient from its physical counterpart.
I have already mentioned the  advantages that it has during the purchasing process , but another major plus point of it is , convenience during travelling. As a manga fan whenever I travel , I  always have the urge to carry a few manga with me , just to pass the time. This is made much easier by the fact that I can carry hundreds of manga in digital form in my cell phone or tablet. This completely nullifies the issue of misplacing your favourite manga in a metro , bus or airplane. This also increases the amount of manga you can carry , in physical form the maximum number that you can carry would probably be around five , but in case of digital , you can easily carry a hundred.

Another benefit of digital manga is for people who don't have easy access to physical copies. I mean there are certain countries where shipping is not available , for people in these countries , digital copies are the only way to read manga. These reasons clearly make the digital copies more convenient and superior , but then is there any usefulness for their physical counterparts? I'd say yes.

Now , this reason might just be a personal opinion , but for me , a digital copy can never capture the satisfaction that I get while reading a physical one. Nothing can replace the feeling of you having the manga in your hands and flipping it's pages while feeling the texture of each page. This might sound stupid to some but I think everyone will , to some degree , agree to the fact that reading a physical copy of any book is far more satisfying than , let's say reading a PDF or epub of it.  It's a lot more soothing experience as staring at pages is far more pleasing for your eyes than staring at screens. Another reason why I love the physical copies is for collecting and showcasing purposes. I love to buy tons of manga an then placing them with pride on my shelves. Even if I read the digital version of a manga , I always make sure to order its physical copy just to improve my manga collection and I feel that this is the case for a lot of people.

At the end , I would just say that I do and always will prefer the physical copies as even though they are less convenient , they provide a far better overall experience for me. And by this I don't mean to say that reading digital manga is wrong by any means , I myself read tons of digital manga but at the end of the day , I feel that it's just a matter of preference.

MANGAKA SPOTLIGHT #1: TAISHI TSUTSUI

Today we will be taking a look at all the manga that Taishi Tsutsui has worked on , I will be talking about each one of them and comparing them as to showcase the journey that the mangaka has been through for the past decade. We will be starting with his first ever manga , Esprit. Esprit is a fantasy , action manga from Taishi Tsutsui , it is set in a world where numerous islands are called "homes" and people of a particular home have little to no knowledge about other homes. These homes are discovered and are kept in check by the agents of the "ocean affairs agency" , from here on I will be referring to these agents as OA agents (ocean affairs agents). These OA agents have certain powers called jinxes which stem from a person's faith. For example ,  if I believe with all my heart that I can cause weather changes then I will gain that power or jinx. The story follows an apprentice OA agent Mio and her friends' adventures , as they explore these hom
